Family water tracker for iPhone: HydroNest gives each person in your household, and your pets, their own water goal, log and streak on one phone.
What it does
- A profile for each family member with their own colour, avatar, daily goal and streaks, switched with one tap, plus a family dashboard that shows everyone at a glance
- Daily goals calculated from age, weight and activity, with age-appropriate targets for children and alcohol and energy drinks hidden on child profiles
- Pet profiles for a dog, cat or other companion, with a daily water goal from the pet's weight and one-tap bowl logging; only pet-safe drinks are shown
- 38 drinks, from water and coffee to juice and wine, each counted with a hydration factor drawn from published research on the Beverage Hydration Index
- Log without opening the app: Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, a Live Activity, an Apple Watch app, reminder notifications and Siri
- Mindful mode for alcohol and caffeine: units week over week, a budget in place of a goal, and streaks of days without alcohol
- Data stays on your device and in your own iCloud, with no account, no ads and no third-party analytics; Apple Health sync is optional and write-only
HydroNest is a hydration log, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. If a condition affects how much you should drink, follow your doctor, and for pets, your vet.

Is there a water tracker app for the whole family?
HydroNest Family Water Tracker gives each family member their own profile, goal and streak on one phone, switched with one tap, and a family dashboard shows the whole household at a glance. Family and pet profiles are part of HydroNest Premium, and one subscription covers everyone through Family Sharing.
Can I track my dog's or cat's water intake?
Yes. HydroNest has pet profiles with a daily water goal set from the pet's weight, based on common veterinary guidance, and you log a bowl with one tap. Only pet-safe drinks are offered. It is guidance only, and your vet's advice comes first.
Does coffee count toward daily water intake?
In HydroNest it counts, at a slightly lower hydration factor than water. Each of its 38 drinks carries a factor drawn from published research on the Beverage Hydration Index, so milk counts a little more than water and coffee a little less.
