Why didn't my storage go up after using a cleaner app?
Photos and videos a cleaner deletes move to Recently Deleted, where they keep using space until you empty it in Photos, under Collections, Recently Deleted (below Utilities). Disky's receipt lists how much is waiting there.
Can a cleaner app shrink videos instead of deleting them?
Cleanup, Clever Cleaner and Disky all list video compression in their App Store descriptions, so you can keep a clip at a smaller size. Swipewipe's description does not mention compression.
